Herongate Wood, is a Woodland Cemetery managed by our in-house Funeral Directors, Adam & Greenwood.
Herongate wood was created to give a tranquil final resting place for people and a calm and quite place in nature for people to visit and remember their loved ones. Our first burial took place in May of 2003 and we have been giving peace of mind to families ever since.
We are an independent, three generation family owned Funeral Directors, and are currently run by two generations of women.
We pride ourselves on our open and diverse service and want to welcome your family into ours. Our qualified and caring staff are on site Monday to Saturday 9am until 4.30pm to help care for you and your family in anyway you need us. They can arrange burial, cremation or ashes services and we always try to have the same funeral arranger with you for every step so a connection is built, and you have someone you can trust with the important matter of looking after your loved one.
We truly love to learn about your loved one and arrange a send off for them that celebrates their life. Our phones are open 24/7, 365 days a year so when you need us, we are there to help you. Call 01277 811064.
Let our family care for yours.
We also offer the opportunity to pre-book a selection of plots and with interest free payment options and no maintenance, lease or out of area surcharge fees, families can truly remove the burden of future increasing costs. No grave will ever be re-used or disturbed.
Herongate Wood can also assist in arranging ashes burials, ashes scatterings, pre-paid funeral plans or provide guidance in creating a personal memorial on a bench, wall or tree.
