We have set out our prices for burial plots and memorials at Herongate Wood Cemetery. We view making funeral arrangements as a very personal choice, therefore, with the variety of permutations on offer, we do not detail our funeral costs here. We prefer our experienced Funeral Directors to work with you in building the Funeral you would want for your loved one.

Additional Information on Plots
We wish to make it absolutely clear that we make no charge for the maintenance of graves. There are no ‘hidden’ costs. There are no ‘lease’ or ‘out of area’ fees. We care for the site whilst it functions as a burial ground. Once the burial ground reaches capacity, it will be gifted to the Woodland and Wildlife Trust, which will maintain it forever, using the fund built up from payments made at the time of each burial. We have made arrangements to ensure that no grave will ever be re-used or disturbed. Those who rest here will ‘Rest in Peace’ in the truest sense of the phrase.

Granite Grave Plaque £750
Permanent and engraved with a personalised message and an optional image. To have a natural and everlasting message for your loved one.
There is no maintenance or renewal cost on this item and stay forever on the grave.Tree Plaque £700
A small Granite name plaque, engraved with a personalised message in a stainless-steel mount and placed in front of one of our memorial trees located around the pond, main avenues, welcome centre and chapel.
The area around the memorial tree can be tended to have flowers and plants. Ashes can also be scattered around a memorial tree when having a tree plaque.
The tree plaque is renewable after 10 years.
Bench Plaque £475
Engraved on bronze with personalised message, fixed to one of our oak benches located around our pond and around the burial site area. A bench is a perfect place to sit and remember your loved one.
The bench plaque is renewable after 10 years.
Memorial Wall Plaque & Posy Vase £375
Granite name plaque, engraved with personalised message and fixed to our Memorial Wall adjacent to the Hall of Remembrance with an individual posy vase.
