We are sure many of you have been made aware that Essex has officially been declared in drought due to the extreme high temperatures with the very limited rainfall.
We understand how important your plants are to you and connection they hold to your loved ones, so we have made the decision to keep the water butts on and in active use.
However, we do request that everyone and anyone who is using our facilities to please be conservative with your water usage when at Herongate Wood, we understand this may be difficult request but in order to minimize any lasting impacts on our environment and wildlife, it is a necessary ask.
