It has recently come to our attention that many the of plots at Herongate Wood Cemetery have become homes to items that we unfortunately do not allow in line with our terms and conditions.
Any items that do not align with our Woodland environment will unfortunately be removed from plots, this has always been our policy but unfortunately the high influx recently has resulted in a more thorough approach to plot maintenance.
These items include:
- Plant pots
- Glass Items
- Balloons
- Ornaments
- Stones
- Artificial flowers
- Ceramic Items
Planted items will be requested to be removed by us
- Roses
- Shrubs
- Conifers
- Small Trees
Please note that we do allow items for short periods up to a week for anniversaries and other sentimental dates, but they must be cleared and documented by the staff at Herongate Wood. If you wish to leave an item on a loved ones plot, you can let us know by coming by to the main office at Herongate Wood.
