No,as we are Funeral Directors and offer the full range of facilities for both ‘green’ and traditional funerals; it is your choice. As a family company, we are here to help and guide you through the practicalities of laying a loved one to rest and to support you in your needs. You can come to us direct and we can provide a caring, dignified funeral, incorporating any decisions or arrangements that you choose. It is important to us that every funeral is entirely in accordance with the wishes of the deceased and their relatives.
We provide full Funeral Directors’ Services (including cremation, if required). We will collect your loved one immediately from their own home, residential care home or from the Hospital. We will keep them safe in our Chapel of Rest. Whilst we help you arrange the funeral that best celebrates their part in your life; they never leave our care.
We have full viewing facilities at our Chapel of Rest, either at Billericay, Chelmsford or Maldon, whichever is most convenient for the family.
However, if you want to use Herongate Wood and combine this with the services of another Funeral Directors, we will work seamlessly with them.
